The reason you come to work in a morning?
I come into work to play at radio – it doesn’t feel like a real job, but it does provide me with real pay so I can support my family!

What role do you think you play in the show?
I give the female perspective on the show, although sometimes you’d think that Hirsty was the female element of the team!! I like to think that I create balance if the boys get too blokey and not forgetting my other role which is to laugh a lot too!

What did you want to do when you were little?
Be an actress/singer/dancer or a window dresser!

Who are your heroes and inspirations?
Shirley Bassey – she has it all! The voice, the dresses, money and style!

Songs to get down to?
Filthy, dirty house music with lots of squelchy, farty sounds – Nice!

Which celebrity do you reckon you look or act like?
People say that I look like Neneh Cherry, but act like Dame Shirley! You will hear the boys refer to me as ‘The JoJo’!

When do you think we'll get flying cars?
By the next Millennium -  I don’t care as long as mine has a driver! Dahling! Mwah, mwah!

Who doesn't deserve to be famous?
There are sooooo many people – where do I start??? I don’t mind famous people, just as long as they can actually do something or did something impressive at least once!

What rules do you live life by?
‘Work to Live’ not ‘Live to Work’!

If you died and came back as an animal what would it be and why?
I’ve always liked otters, but it’s a tough life being an otter – they work really hard, whereas koala bears sleep for 18 hours a day and eat for the remaining 6! I reckon that’s a better option!

What's been your biggest cock-up on radio?
Missing half a show due to flooding the kitchen because I put washing up liquid in the dish washer and referring to video plus as ‘pro-plus’. 

If your life depended on it; Pat from Eastenders or Rita from Corrie?
Pat – I know she’s got the moves!!

Have you ever used your job at Galaxy as a licence to pull?
Never! My husband didn’t click who I was until a mate told him!

Your opinions on Hirsty?
He’s a bit daft like me and is a walking Boots counter with added advantage card, but I love him dearly!

I love my naughty little brother and makes me laugh – a lot!
