Mr Hudson - Straight No Chaser

His first album is pretty timeless, so it’ll be interesting to see what the new album brings. After all you can’t mix with Jay-Z and Kanye West and think it won’t affect the end product. Surely it’ll be for the best?  We’ll see when the new album arrives October 5th.  Till then make sure you rinse the first album:  A Tale of 2 Cities.

Example has created one of the tunes of the summer for me. Watch the Sun Come Up is Ibiza gold with a video to match. The track is out in September and after some recent live performances, it’s obvious the album is going to sound BIG. The finishing touches are being put to it now for a January release.

Dizzee Rascal – Tongue n Cheek

With 3 number ones on the album before it’s even out, you can only imagine how successful this album will be for The Boy In Da Corner. The grimey underground sound of his debut 6 years ago still seems alive but mostly in the vocals. Most anticipated UK album of 2009? Probably. Fix Up, Look Sharp on September 21st when the album’s out. Arf.
